Christmas Jumper Day in aid of Save The Children

School Council would like to take part in the national fundraising event in support of Save The Children. Children are invited to come to school in a Christmas Jumper (or other seasonal clothing) in return for a minimum £1 donation which will then go to the charity.

Friendship Bench

A few years ago, we purchased friendship stop signs as a means of including all children at lunchtime. The aim was that, if you were alone and had no one to play with, you could visit the stop and other children would invite you to join in. These signs are now in need of replacement.

Mrs Pepper has now had the idea of instituting a friendship bench with the same aim as the signs above. Before we make a purchase – do you work for a retailer who may be able to give us a good deal (we are happy to give publicity)? Do you have an unwanted bench in good order that you may be willing to donate? Are you into DIY and like making benches? If so, we and the children would like to hear from you.
