World Book Day – Thursday 1st March – This year is a dressing up year! The children are invited to come to school dressed as a favourite character from a work of children’s literature.
Mothers’ Day Present Wrapping -Wednesday 7th March – We will be holding a mufti day on Friday 2nd March when the children will be invited to bring in a small item suitable as a Mothers’ Day gift (Please bring a gift rather than a money donation). The children will then be invited to bring in £1.50 on Wednesday 7th to buy a present which will then be wrapped in time to take home for Mother’s Day. Each child will be able to make one purchase for their mother or other friend or female relative. Participation is not compulsory. Volunteer wrappers needed – if you can help, please contact Steph Harris, Mr. Thomas or any other FISH member.
Easter Competitions - Wednesday 21st March (for judging on Thursday 22nd March / Prize-giving Friday 23rd March) - As in previous years, FISH will once again be running our two popular Easter competitions. There is a £1 entry fee for each entry.
Make an Easter Bonnet - Children in Reception and the Infants are invited to design an Easter bonnet to be displayed and worn at a special assembly on the last day of school before the Easter holiday.
Decorated Egg Competition - Children in the Juniors are invited to decorate a HARD BOILED or BLOWN EGG for judging at the same time as the Infant bonnets. Look at the picture gallery on the FISH page of our school website for inspiration!
